"Registration for Exeter-West Greenwich Spring Recreational Soccer is open through the end of this week! Visit www.ewgsoccer.org by Sunday March 4th to take advantage of a multi-child discount, and avoid a late fee.  Programs are available for children and teens aged 3 to 16." 

The National Education Association celebrates Read Across America Saturday, March 3 from 10a.m. - 4p.m. at the Warwick Mall.  Children are invited to participate in book giveaways, raffle prizes, a make-your-own hat craft, opportunities to visit and pose with Cat in the Hat, and listen to Rhode Island celebrities read books aloud.- LINK: http://www.neari.org/Community/NEAs-Read-Across-America

OUR ACTS OF KINDNESS

Grade 1 students have been challenged to try to share 100 acts of kindness before the 100th day of school- can we do it?? They are writing these on hearts and dropping them off at the office :)

A few announcements for next week: 

Next Friday will be: Show your favorite sport team spirit day AND Crazy Sock Day! We love when are students are showing school spirit! Join in on the fun! 

Report Cards will be coming home on Wednesday, February 14th

PTA  BOWLING EVENT !

This Sunday~ 

 January 28 at Kingstown Bowl. Two sessions to choose from~ These will be filled on a first come first serve basis. $10 per person includes shoe rental, bowling, pizza and drinks! 

Professional family photos will be availalbe for purchase as well!

Did you know that we have added all kinds of events to our school store! New this week, you can now buy tickets using your bee bucks to do all kinds of fun things with teachers who have volunteered to make this possible. Students had the chance to sign up for basketball with Mr. D, lunch with Mrs. Larkin, art with Ms. Beaulieu etc. etc. etc.      Our PBIS team met and came up with this awesome idea where in addition to tangible trinkets, children could opt for special activities at Wawaloam School!

Please know that we want to make every effort possible to provide the children with outdoor recess. Sending them in with protective outerwear is essential at this time of year. When it is snowy on the upper level of the playground, only children with boots and snow pants may proceed to that area.
