Week Ending December 15th

WINTER WONDERLAND AT RECESS

Please be aware of the outdoor weather conditions as we have outdoor recess every day unless it is raining or the temperature (including wind chill) is below 20 degrees. If there is snow on the upper playground, students who have appropriate clothing for playing in the snow (boots, snow pants, gloves) are allowed to play in the snow. Please make sure your child's name is on all belongings.

IT IS A GREAT IDEA TO SEND A CHANGE OF CLOTHES TO SCHOOL FOR YOUR CHILD TO LEAVE IN THEIR LOCKER- WE WANT THEM TO GO OUT AND PLAY BUT THEY DO GET WET. WE HAVE SOME CLOTHES AVAILABLE BUT  HAVING THEIR OWN SET HERE MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE.

*We would gladly accept donations of outgrown, gently used winter gear: boots, coats, mittens and hats for friends in need.

A Special Assembly Today!

What is a fractured fairy tale?
fairy tale designed to be humorous by changing the story in an unexpected way; altering characters, or adding a modern language and events.

Today, high school students entertained our First Grade with a fractured variation of:
Little Red Riding Hood, 3 Billy Goats Gruff, The 3 Pigs and 3 Blind Mice
